ABOUT US
Empowering Global Voices in the 2024 USA Election
YOUSAY-WESAY is an international
study conducted by Deakin University
in Australia. This study investigates international public opinion
on the 2024 USA presidential election. As a major political event,
United States (US) presidential elections are the subject of extensive
polling and public opinion analysis. Most of this work studies the
attitudes of Americans, for whom the winner will become their next
President. However, this officeholder will also become the “leader of
the free world”, as American presidents are often described. Yet our
understanding of international public opinion on US elections – that
is, the preferences and perceptions of audiences around the world – is
relatively understudied. YOUSAY-WESAY
will provide an international perspective and context by providing a
voice to people around the world in one of the most pivotal elections
of our time. We believe that the outcome of the USA election affects
not just Americans but the global
community. Through our platform, non-American citizens can share their
opinions, participate in live polls, and track global sentiments in real
time.
